The first time I saw The Blind Side was when a friend suggested it to me a few years ago. I had no idea what it was about, but I remembered after the movie I absolutely loved it. My family is a football family, so the movie was perfect. I liked how it was mostly about family and how the director retold the true story.
This movie is about the young life of Micheal Oher, a homeless teen who went in and out of school. His life was heading down hill until a women, Anne Tuohy, with her family spotted him one night. She urged him to spend the night but she felt she could do more for him. Over time Anne and her family grew fond of Micheal and adopted him. Soon after that his interest in playing football grew and he was becoming a better student, thanks to his new family, coach, and his tutor. His football skills started to improve progressively and he started to catch the eyes of college coaches. With all the help from his family and others he successfully went to college and started a football career.
The movie was emotional and touching every time I’ve watched it. It showed the struggle in the beginning that later on turned into strength. And how a persons life completely change after meeting someone who cared.
